This webinar will highlight two projects from the Alma community (University of Texas at Austin and University of Toronto) that show how AI can help libraries manage their records more effectively. The session will cover how these libraries are using AI to: 

• Make metadata more accurate
• Save time on manual tasks
• Create custom solutions tailored to specific challenges like:
  • Extracting data from unstructured text
  • Automating repetitive cataloging tasks
  • Improving the precision of library catalog entries
• Keep the human expertise at the center of metadata management
