The study rooms are located to the left of the library entrance (third floor of the Learning Hub building on the Northeast Campus), past the casual seating areas and study tables. Each of the three available rooms can hold up to six people. Electrical outlets and campus wifi are available in each room.
HCC students currently enrolled in classes have priority in the Codwell Study Rooms. Staff and faculty, including faculty of partner school districts, please see library staff for options. Members of the public are welcome to use the various sitting areas around the library.
Covered drinks are allowed in the study rooms. Please enjoy meals in the second floor student lounge or patio.
No advanced reservations: Reservations for group study rooms are on a first come, first served basis on the day of the reservation. Reservations are for up to two hours.
Each Library reserves the right to request ID verification of HCC student status.
Once you have entered your information, you can go straight to the room you have chosen.
HCC Faculty can reserve Computer Lab 308 by talking to library staff or selecting time blocks and filling out the form below. Computer Lab 308 is not reservable by students, but students have access to Computer Lab 307, which is an open computer lab within the library.

COMPUTER CLASSROOM GUIDELINES:
- HCC Faculty: Reservations are required for faculty incorporating technology into learning experiences. Contact library staff to reserve a room.
- HCC Staff: Reservations are needed to use the classroom for HCC events.
- Reservations by outside groups: Use of the computer classroom by outside groups must be coordinated with Campus Administration.
